Located in the far northeastern corner of Uganda’s border with South Sudan and Kenya, It has an abundance of big games and has more than 77 species of mammal and in addition around 475 different species of bird. The park is among Africa’s best wilderness. From Apoka in the core of the park, a Savannah scene stretches out a long way past the gazetted areas towards horizons outlined by mountain ranges.
