No matter the reason why you visiting Uganda, either on a business trip, tourist, attending a conference or even just visiting friends and family, at one point you will need time to rest and relax, there you will have to get something to do to pass time as you resting.

Take a boda tour: After everything is done and when you saved time to explore and enjoy Kampala, get up early and get a lay of the land by exploring the city from the back of a bodaboda (motorcyclist). You’ll get both a vibe for various parts of the city and additionally seeing the majority of the real attractions, but you should not forget to put on a safety helmet because the bodaboda riders in the country are known to be careless. Try not to wait for more than 2-3 hours however make sure to stop for a rolex to keep your energy up! You have a great deal to achieve.
Visit Owino Market: This place is not for faint of heart it is something everybody should experience when visiting the city. Move deep into the biggest market Kampala and it’s also strongly advisable that you leave your valuables at home when going for such experience. In this market everything is on sale and in case you needed to see real Kampala it doesn’t get any more real than this!
After visit the Owino market you’ll need a bit of peace and calm and set aside some time to recover. This requires some Ugandan coffee at one of the many coffee shops in the city. Look at our ‘eateries’ sections under nourishment to pick a top choice.
After lunch when you still have enough time and energy, visit Gaba Fish Market where you can sit in a local eatery at sundown, gaze out at the lake and enjoy some of the freshest fish you’ll ever have. Nile Perch and Tilapia are pulled in daily from Lake Victoria barbecued and fricasseed to perfection here.
Since its now evening, then you will need a place to calm down as your listening to music. You will need to return to Kampala and again enjoy the night time in Kampala where by the city turn live at night. You can visit some clubs where live music is played. Or, if in case you interested in trawling from bar to bar then go a little further up to Kabalagala along Gaba road.
